WHAT DO YOU SEE 2015?
April 24, 2020

Welcome to January – The Month of Vision.

2015 has been designated as our year of RESTORATION in the house… I Pray the new year will surprise and overwhelm you for goodness IJN.
George Banner in the book: Power of Vision defined VISION as: Foresight with insight based on hindsight….That will take a few seconds to sink in: Foresight, Insight, Hindsight.… a common thing connects the 3 words: SIGHT.
Foresight is ability to see the future…
Insight is ability to see with the eyes of your mind…
Hindsight is ability to see looking back at the past…

– So Vision is all about SIGHT…..short and simple. The greatest tragedy is not the disability of the physical eyes but an inability to see with the eyes of the mind…..It is cheaper to see by Foresight and Insight. Learning by Hindsight can be costly because negative experiences are not cheap. Experience is not necessarily the best teacher as personal experience can be expensive. learning from other people’s experience is always cheaper.

– Everyone in life has opportunities but not everyone is able to recognise the opportunities and harness them. Everyone has the capability of the power of vision but not everyone is able to see properly. A believer will not be able to effectively walk with God and fulfil their God given purpose without the power of vision. Vision is seeing into the future, Sight requires faith and remember without faith its impossible to please God. So Vision requires Sight, Foresight and Insight requires Faith…

– At various times God invoked the power of vision in the heart of Abraham in order to get him moving. One time Abraham was complaining about not having a child, God brought him out of his tent and asked him to count the stars, he said:  so shall your descendants be…. He was provoking vision in Abraham. In the reading today, after Lot left, God told Abraham to lift his eyes and look east, west, north, south. There is only a limit to which Abraham could have seen physically. Maybe a kilometre on every side….. He won’t have been able to see to the extent God wanted him to see with his physical eyes. But engaging the eyes of his mind, he would have been able to get a picture of what God was offering him.. So the question again is: What do you see in 2015?  Don’t allow past negative experience to block the extent of your sight…Remember whatever you see can be yours..
