The Ark Building Project
This project seeks to address an identified need to create more space to accommodate additional facilities for a modern place of worship that are flexible and inclusive.
The planning application seeks outline planning permission for the erection of 3no. floors above
the existing church building at 251 Windsor Street to provide additional capacity for the growing congregation. The design retains elements of the existing building at ground floor and extends outwards and upwards to provide:
- Main hall – double height with gallery seating at first floor
- Children’s hall
- Teen’s church
- Games Room
- Roof Terrace
- Crèche
- Kitchen
- Office space
- WC’s at each level
- 1no. accessible parking space
- 16no. cycle spaces
