RECEIVING ANSWERS TO PRAYERS
Day 2, Second Week of our Masterlife Workbook

How do we ensure we receive continuous answers to prayers?

We could pray for long hours….
A night vigil can be effective in knocking the doors of Heaven
We could add fasting to it….
We could add sowing an unusual seed or a vow to the prayers

All the above does have their place in receiving answers to prayers.
However our text today talks about having confidence in prayers.
The only thing that gives guaranteed 100% confidence that our prayers will be answered is praying according to his will.So finding out his will should be our first priority and praying according to it should be next. Jesus always had answers to his prayers. The only time his prayers was not answered, he was asking if he could possibly escape the death on the cross. So if Jesus’ prayers against God’s will was not answered. Your’s will not be answered unless it goes in line with God’s willHis will can also be found in his word. The quiet time allows us to ask according to his will

Prayer focus:  Lord thank you for a new day again…. Help me pray acording to your will this week IJN.

Book of the month: The Church is embarking on weeks of discipleship workbook study starting with the Masterlife: Disciple’s cross.
On Grace: If not for the Grace of God by Joyce Meyer recommended.
