The Word: 1 Chronicles  7: 14(KJV)

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Nehemiah 1: 3 – 4  (KJV)

And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire. And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,

PRAYING FOR OUR NATIONS AND CHURCHES
We are praying intercessory prayers for our nation and churches today….
Intercessory prayers usually starts with the intercessor taking responsibility and associating with the sin of the people in order to make a valid case before God. Nehemiah was a great intercessor, Abraham was, Moses also was an intercessor. Daniel was also a great intercessor. You can’t effectively intercede on behalf of people without taking responsibility and becoming associated with the wrong doings.

Nehemiah took time to fast and stay before in sack cloths. Humbling ourselves is always the prerequisite to healing and being exalted.

14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways;

This is usually the qualification for deliverance and a turn around…. We need to pray for the churches all over the world. We believers have not fully taken our place and that is the reason for so many evils we have around. Our nations are so corrupt, injustice is forgotten, the helpless and weak unfairly treated and that has not necessarily make God happy. Listen to Nehemiah’s prayer:

And said, I beseech thee, O Lord God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments: Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father’s house have sinned. We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses.

God is looking for a man…. Just a single man or woman who will take his or her place to intercede on behalf of the land. Can he find us reliable to be faithful to turn his wrath away and pray for the healing of our churches and nations? Please say yes today to his call.

Line 1:  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
