Dig Deeper: Ecclesiastes 3: 2 – 4 (KJV)

A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

UNDERSTANDING SEASONS
Welcome to a new month, the month of May. No 5 represent Grace spiritually. May you find grace at work in your life this month IJN. God works in times and seasons. There are two Greek words that represents time: Chronos and Chairos

Chronos talks about clock time, sequential time. That is where we got the Chronograph wrist watch. Chairos however talks about seasons, the right time, God’s own appointed time.

Jesus points out the difference when he tells his disciples.
John 7: 6 “The right time for me has not yet come; for you any time is right,” At Cana in Galilee when his mother Mary tried to hurry him to do a miracle with the wine, he said: ‘My time has not yet come’
In other words there is the clock time that allows us to count in seconds, minutes, hour, day, weeks, years… There is also the season time which represents the right time or the appointed time.

Understanding timing and seasons makes our life easier with less stress. This is what we will be studying alongside our methods of studying the bible this month. Please ponder on the statements below, it will help you understand better how God thinks:

– When our request is not right, God will usually say: NO

– When our request is right, but the timing is not yet God will usually say: WAIT

– When our request is right, the timing is right but we don’t have the capacity to handle the success yet God will usually say: GROW

– When our request is right, the timing is right we have the right attitude, God will usually say: GO

Understanding my seasons is important to success and not having frustrations

REVISTING THE PROMISES FOR THIS YEAR
As we have come to a weekend of seeking God and in a month of focus on God’s word, it is important to appreciate that God’s prophecy or promises are equally as powerful or potent as the scriptures.
The bible is documented promises or words inspired by the Holy Spirit. A direct word to the house is a Rhema (word in real time) which is equally as powerful and relevant for our year.

Our father said this year is our year of NEXT LEVEL and we said NEXT LEVEL is changing position upwards, moving to the next stage spiritually, physically, maritally as a Church and in every spect of our lives. But for many of us and the church does it look like next level right now? Perhaps many will answer: NO

For some people it might even look like a lower level. But we must not forget that God said we should be expectant of four things.
– New things. He will do New things
– Restructuring. Our lives will need to be restructured and reorganised
– It’s OK to take a step back in order to leap forward
– He will take away all reproach.

Remember Haggai 2:9 The glory of the latter shall be greater than the former. It may not yet look like NEXT LEVEL but God’s word is settled forever. That is what he said. Let’s key in and align ourselves to this.

God’s word is like the rain and the snow. It will accomplish what’s it’s been sent to do
