TREASURES IN THE WORD

Still on Psalm 119. We said the chapter was written by several authors. Let’s look at further verses from the chapters:

89 For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven: God’s word is certain, It is dependable, It can be relied upon, It is dependable.

92 Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in mine affliction: Tears may not necessarily bring a change of situation. But God’s word will.

96 I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad: God’s word is perfect.

97 O how love I thy law! it is my meditation all the day: We must develop a love for the word. It must become our meditation 24/7

98 Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than mine enemies: for they are ever with me: God’s word brings wisdom.

99 I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my meditation. God’s word brings understanding.

100 I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.

103 How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth! God’s word is sweet.

130 The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple: God’s word brings light.

160 Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgements endureth for ever: God’s word is true.

162 I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil. God’s word is treasure.

165 Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them: God’s word brings peace

REVISTING THE PROMISES FOR THIS YEAR
As we have come to a weekend of seeking God and in a month of focus on God’s word, it is important to appreciate that God’s prophecy or promises are equally as powerful or potent as the scriptures.
The bible is documented promises or words inspired by the Holy Spirit. A direct word to the house is a Rhema (word in real time) which is equally as powerful and relevant for our year.

Our father said this year is our year of NEXT LEVEL and we said NEXT LEVEL is changing position upwards, moving to the next stage spiritually, physically, maritally as a Church and in every spect of our lives. But for many of us and the church does it look like next level right now? Perhaps many will answer: NO

For some people it might even look like a lower level. But we must not forget that God said we should be expectant of four things.
– New things. He will do New things
– Restructuring. Our lives will need to be restructured and reorganised
– It’s OK to take a step back in order to leap forward
– He will take away all reproach.

Remember Haggai 2:9 The glory of the latter shall be greater than the former. It may not yet look like NEXT LEVEL but God’s word is settled forever. That is what he said. Let’s key in and align ourselves to this.
