THE GIFT OF JESUS

We have been saying Jesus is the embodiment of grace. Colossians 2:9 says ‘in him dwells the fullness of the Godhead bodily.’ So if you were looking for an example of a man who carried unparalleled grace. Look no further than Jesus. He was the grace and the gift of God rolled into one and given to humanity.
We didn’t deserve him. But he was given to us all the same. What we deserved through Adam was death but what we got was pardon. That is what grace is about isn’t it? Deserving the negative but instead getting the positive. Worthy of condemnation but getting forgiveness and mercy. When we come to accept him as our Lord and saviour, we receive eternal life or what you call the life of God….. That life comes with grace. In him was life, that life was the light of men, the light shines in darkness and darkness cannot comprehend or overcome it.

Because Jesus is also the word, the more of him that you know, the more grace is released unto you. The more light you have, the more life you have,  the more life you have, the more grace you experience….

Remember Our memory verse for January:
2 Corinthians 9: 8
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

Why not thank him for his grace….

Prayer focus:  Father thank you for giving us Jesus…. We are grateful for the sacrifice.
