The Word: Ephesians 5: 18(KJV)

10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

NEW FILLING, FRESH OIL
When we get baptised in the Holy Spirit, we are filled with him. However Apostle Paul admonishes us not to be drunk with wine but be filled with the Holy Spirit…
So there is a filling at Holy Spirit Baptism and there is constant top up afterwards,
19 Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
Paul’s advice suggests a constant filling. David also said: I shall be anointed with fresh oil….These all suggests freshness.
God wants us to be filled with the Holy Spirit in the morning, noon and at night. So It will need to be a conscious, constant, continuous action from us.
Some rich people like their food freshly prepared. So their food is freshly done every time.
God wants us to be fresh in him but it is a tall ask. It will be a sacrifice but we can cultivate the culture.
Just like consciously go out of our way to develop healthy eating habits, we can consciously go out of our way to cultivate a process of being constantly filled.
What can we do to be constantly filled?
1. Firstly, we need an hunger or thirst. A desire for more of God. If you are not hungry, then you can’t eat a lot. You need to be hungry to be able to take in a lot
2. The Holy Spirit flows in an atmosphere of worship. If we go out of our way to cultivate such an atmosphere, we will start experiencing his constant presence
3. Another thing we could do is praying in the Holy Spirit. This charges up our spirit man
Why not make a life decision to cultivate an habit for constant in filling, continuous presence of the Holy Spirit today

Our memory verse for February 2018
John 3: 3
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Let’s take a few moment to learn our memory verse for this month by heart. It can be memorised in 2 lines:
Line 1: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Line 2: Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Once you say it a few times it will stick.
Prayer focus: Our prayers for the next level project:
Let’s just bask in his presence, praying in tongues…..
