DAILY WORD: EXPLOSIVE BLESSINGS

Genesis 26: 18 – 21  (KJV)
18 And Isaac digged again the wells of water, which they had digged in the days of Abraham his father; for the Philistines had stopped them after the death of Abraham: and he called their names after the names by which his father had called them. 19 And Isaac’s servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing water. 20 And the herdmen of Gerar did strive with Isaac’s herdmen, saying, The water is ours: and he called the name of the well Esek; because they strove with him. 21 And they digged another well, and strove for that also: and he called the name of it Sitnah.

Dig Deeper: Genesis 26: 22
22 And he removed from thence, and digged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the Lord hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land.

Think about it:
EXPLOSIVE BLESSINGS
Abraham was a leader in his generation. He was far ahead in blessings, prosperity, favour. That brought envy. When he died, the philistines went and blocked the water wells he dug.

Water was critical in the desert. Everybody needed it. Without those water wells, both human and livestocks cannot survive. If you had a well back then, you are considered very wealthy already. Because you have something that everyone needs. However the Philistines used earth and stones to block the well. That tells you the level of envy and negative emotion they had for Abraham. They were threatened by his blessing.

Isaac started digging those wells again but the Philistines fought him. He dug 2 former wells of his dad and the Philistines fought him over them. So he left it for them. Then God gave him inspiration and he dug a fresh new well…. It was better than the former ones his dad dug. The Philistines couldn’t argue over this. Isaac called the new well: REHOBOTH. Meaning usual space and fruitfulness.

As we are in this period of prayers. I want you to expect certain things even before the fasting finishes:

1. Sudden success on past failures: Things that you have done and not been successful at before. It is time to do them again. Isaac dug 3 times before God gave Rehoboth. As you make the attempt again with prayers. God’s help will show up for you.
2. A better Restoration: Rehoboth was better than the ones they collected from him. It was newer and there was bigger space around. For something you lost in the past which you cried and prayed about. There will be a better replacement. God has abundance of better replacements.
3. Fruitfulness: This means you will enter a place of rest where you have more than enough and you don’t have to pray about certain things. Instead you are now a source of blessing to others

Please expect an Explosion of blessings as a result of these prayers. It has to be GREATER (better, bigger, newer) GLORY indeed this year.
