The Word: Exodus 7: 1a(KJV)
And the Lord said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh…….
Dig Deeper:Psalms 82: 6 (KJV)
6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.
Think about it
YE ARE gods….
We spoke briefly about our new identity in Christ yesterday. The new birth makes us a new creature spiritually. The new birth confers certain rights and priviledges on me. When a man naturalises and adopts a new citizenship, that change in citizenship allows you to enjoy certain priviledges. For instance if a foreigner was to become a UK citizensip, then he or she will enkoy the following rights:
– You will be subject to UK laws and regulations because you have brought yourself under the UK jurisdiction
– You will have to pledge your allegiance to the queen.
– You will be given the red passport and have permanent resident rights
– By virtue of the red passport, you will have access to public funds, working tax credits, child benefits etc
– You will be able to travel without any visa to certain countries
– You will be able to work in certain countries without work permit
– If you were kidnapped or something negative happen, the UK government will seek to rescue and deliver you because you are now her subject
Once we become born again, we change citizenship, we become subject to Kingdom Covenant. We are subject to God’s laws and requirements. We believe with our hearts and pledge our allegiance to him. We are adopted into God’s family. We no longer have to be limited by curses of our natural heritage. We enjoy Covenant blessings and grace. Lions give birth to lion cubs….God gives birth to gods… God told Moses: I have made thee a god to Pharaoh….. You are a god according to the scriptures. That is who you are…
So who am I in Christ?
17. I have been delivered from the Kingdom of darkness and translated into God’s Kingdom – Colossians 1: 13
18. I am God’s workmanship created unto God works in Christ Jesus – Ephesians 2: 10
19. I am a partaker of Divine nature – 2 Peter 1: 3-4
20. I am seated with Christ in heavenly places – Ephesians 2: 6, Colossians 2: 12
21. I am the object of God’s mercy
22. I have been redeemed from sickness, poverty, deprivation, the curse of the law, – Galatians 3: 13
23. I operate under the blessings of Abraham – Galatians 3: 14

Our memory verse for February 2018
John 3: 3
3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Let’s take a few moment to learn our memory verse for this month by heart. It can be memorised in 2 lines:
Line 1: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Line 2: Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Once you say it a few times it will stick.
