THE AMEN
The word amen is found in the scriptures repeatedly both in the old and new testament. It literally means: ‘Let it be so’
If someone offered prayers and we say amen at the end, it means we agree with the prayer offered. Amen is a word of confirmation. It is a seal, a declaration of consent or agreement to what was said. Amen means YES. From our text, we understand that Jesus is the amen in the physical form. He is called the AMEN, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of God’s new creation.

Jesus is the physical word. The scriptures is the written word. Any life which is in the physical word (Jesus) is also present in the written word. and can be released. The reason why God’s written word is infallible or so powerful is because the physical word has always been from the beginning with the father – John 1: 1. The physical word (Jesus) is the source of everything that was created. Because he was there when all thing were made (all things were made through him), He knows the history of everything. He knows the history of the devil, the universe, powers etc and that is why all things are subject to the word because the word is the source of all things. The word is the only faithful and true witness because he knew the beginning of all things that was made.

When we engage the written word, the life and power in the physical word (Jesus) is released into our situation

2 Corinthians 1: 20

18 But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea. 20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

The word is the carrier or container of the promises of God. When we know the written word and activate it through our declarations, there can’t be a no answer instead the answer will be YES, YES, YES.

20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

Jesus is the WORD. He is also the AMEN

Like we said: AMEN means: ‘So be it’ Why don’t you find the word related to you, release a declaration and seal it with THE AMEN and see God move into action.

REVISTING THE PROMISES FOR THIS YEAR
As we have come to a weekend of seeking God and in a month of focus on God’s word, it is important to appreciate that God’s prophecy or promises are equally as powerful or potent as the scriptures.
The bible is documented promises or words inspired by the Holy Spirit. A direct word to the house is a Rhema (word in real time) which is equally as powerful and relevant for our year.

Our father said this year is our year of NEXT LEVEL and we said NEXT LEVEL is changing position upwards, moving to the next stage spiritually, physically, maritally as a Church and in every spect of our lives. But for many of us and the church does it look like next level right now? Perhaps many will answer: NO

For some people it might even look like a lower level. But we must not forget that God said we should be expectant of four things.
– New things. He will do New things
– Restructuring. Our lives will need to be restructured and reorganised
– It’s OK to take a step back in order to leap forward
– He will take away all reproach.

Remember Haggai 2:9 The glory of the latter shall be greater than the former. It may not yet look like NEXT LEVEL but God’s word is settled forever. That is what he said. Let’s key in and align ourselves to this.
