TAKE WORDS WITH YOU
Words have a powerful effect on us mentally and psychologically. Most influential leaders are people who knows how to wield the power of the spoken word. There is a way and how to speak. Right words brings healing, warm response, follower-ship and opens doors of favour. If you find that you offend everybody or tends to rub everyone on the wrong side, It may be an indication that you have not mastered how to use words rightly. Right words will diffuse a hot situation. Right words will melt hearts. There are atimes the truth is bitter and it must be told. But there is also the dimension of using the right words for encouragement.
The late Muhammad Ali – Though he was not a Christian, knew how to use the power of the words when needed. He was a master at it. Barack Obama is perhaps one we could relate to recently. Though he wasn’t necessarily talking about Jesus. He knew how to use words to give hope, encourage and motivate millions. People trust and believe in you when you know how to use the right words. Words are influential both in a negative and positive way
In the scriptures, Moses was a stammerer, but with God he knew how to use words. He changed the mind of God on impending destruction.
Abraham was a chief negotiator with God, he interceded on behalf of Sodom and Gomorrah. David was a very positive person, When Saul was chasing him around, he had some depressed, downcast group of men with him. But he turned them into a positive, energetic world beaters through his positive outlook and words. Both Nehemiah and Daniel knew how to use the power of words to intercede before God.

REVISTING THE PROMISES FOR THIS YEAR
As we have come to a weekend of seeking God and in a month of focus on God’s word, it is important to appreciate that God’s prophecy or promises are equally as powerful or potent as the scriptures.
The bible is documented promises or words inspired by the Holy Spirit. A direct word to the house is a Rhema (word in real time) which is equally as powerful and relevant for our year.
Our father said this year is our year of NEXT LEVEL and we said NEXT LEVEL is changing position upwards, moving to the next stage spiritually, physically, maritally as a Church and in every spect of our lives. But for many of us and the church does it look like next level right now? Perhaps many will answer: NO
For some people it might even look like a lower level. But we must not forget that God said we should be expectant of four things.
– New things. He will do New things
– Restructuring. Our lives will need to be restructured and reorganised
– It’s OK to take a step back in order to leap forward
– He will take away all reproach.
Remember Haggai 2:9 The glory of the latter shall be greater than the former. It may not yet look like NEXT LEVEL but God’s word is settled forever. That is what he said. Let’s key in and align ourselves to this.
