4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. 5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

REVISITING THE MASTERLIFE
As we gradually start to settle into 2017, Let’s take a moment to remind ourselves of the Masterlife daily devotional workshop. This is designed to develop us into seasoned disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ. The cornerstones are:
1. Prayer
2. Word
3. Fellowship
4. Witness
These are core foundational cornerstones for every believer. If the foundation is shaky, the entire house will be shaky. Psalm 11: 3 – If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do? It’s about doing the right thing the first time to get the right results. Below are the reasons why these 4 things are so important.
1. Prayers: This is talking to God and hearing God in response. A prayer less christian will be a powerless christian because prayer generates power. But prayer is also giving God the permission to act on our behalf. So without giving God the consent to act on our behalf, he may not interfere in our circumstances.
2. Word. God’s word is his mind. It’s his opinion. It’s his plan. The word gives direction, the brings his power, the word guides us, the word is the final say in all aspect of our lives…
3. Fellowship is taking time out just to commune, meditate and enjoy his presence
4. Witnessing is telling someone about him.
Each of the above has huge benefits, it’s literally impossible to make this cornerstone top priority and not be fruitful. It’s not possible. As you make new resolutions for the year, why not make up your mind that in 2017, these will be your personal cornerstone. Prayer will not be far from your mouth, his word will be your meditation all day long. Taking time aside, just you and him to fellowship and telling everyone possible about the love of Jesus at every possible opportunity.
