Dig Deeper: Romans 12: 2(KJV)
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Think about it
‘Ho, every one that thirsteth, come ye to the waters, and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat;’
6 Key words in our Second text:
– Renewing of your mind
– Perfect will.
Unless our mind is renewed by God’s word, we will conform to the world’s view and way of doing things. When our mind is renewed consistently we unconsciously gets transformed. A renewed mind is able to decipher whether a decision is good, acceptable or perfect. A mind renewed is like a computer that is getting constant updates of softwares. That computer will not be vulnerable to new virus crash. A mind not renewed is not spiritually updated in the way God thinks. That mind cannot make accurate spiritual decisions. A renewed mind is able to discern not only the good and acceptable but the perfect will of God.
As we pursue God, our mind gets renewed…..
