The Word: Jeremiah 29: 4 – 5 (KJV)

PRAYING FOR OUR COMMUNITY
We prayed for our origin yesterday. We are praying for our immediate community today. Many of the children lived in Babylon. It is unusual but God through Prophet Jeremiah asked the children of Israel to pray for Babylon because in the peace of Babylon was their peace.
We need to pray for our immediate community. Wherever God has planted us, there is a reason he has done that. We are light, We are also salt. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. God has an assignment for us in our community, we need to leave a positive mark in our neighbourhood.
What do we pray for?
– We pray for the peace of our neighbourhood
– We pray for the visitation of God in our community
– We take authority over principalities and powers around us
– We bind IJN every opposing power
– We pray for grace and boldness
– We pray for unusual grace, open heavens and power in our neighbourhood
– We pray for salvation of souls
– We pray for an outpouring of God’s spirit and revival
– We pray that the plan of God comes to pass swiftly around us.

3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Let’s take a few moment to learn our memory verse for this month by heart. It can be memorised in 2 lines:
Line 1: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Line 2: Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Once you say it a few times it will stick.
