PRAISE GOD!
April 24, 2020

The Word: Psalm 150: 1 – 2 (KJV)

1 Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.

Dig Deeper:

Psalm 150: 3 – 4  (KJV)

Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs

Think about it

PRAISE GOD!
Today is the 1st day of the 2nd month in this year. God deserves our praise……

To praise is to exalt or eulogise God for who he is. In other words you don’t even need God to do anything for you before you praise him. As long as you are breathing and have life in you, then you are expected to praise him. Only the living can praise him, the dead cannot. Some people bagan the year but are no more. But God has been your help, he has been your stay. He has been your glory and the reason for your living.

Psalm 150: 5

Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

So the fact that I am alive is the only qualification required to go ahead and praise him…..

God deserves our praises because he is God

Our memory verse for Jebruary 2018
John 3: 3

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Let’s take a few moment to learn our memory verse for this month by heart. It can be memorised in 2 lines:
Line 1:  Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Line 2Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Once you say it a few times it will stick.
