1. I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.

PLANS, VISION, AGENDA
Let’s take a brief and direct word today This is the time of the year when a lot of people have new year resolution. Most people will have their ambitions and plans all written out. The goals and targets all documented. That’s OK for natural people. but we are not natural people. We are spiritual people.
We know the spiritual controls the natural. So we don’t start from what is controlled. We start from where the control is. We don’t start by just making our own plans. We ask God: ‘Daddy what are your plans?’
We don’t finish our plans and present it to him to bless. Rather we ask for his own plans, imbibe and absorb it and then run with it.
PLANS, VISION, AGENDA.….
It is important to understand that God has PLANS for us regarding 2018. (Jeremiah 29:11) That is important. When we catch his plans in our hearts or when his plans are birthed in our spirit, that is what we call VISION. That vision is what must then become our AGENDA and goals for the year. That will ensure we are not wasting our time and resources.
Our text today is simple but powerful:
1. I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower: – 2018 is a year to pray
2. and will watch to see what he will say unto me – 2018 is a year to listen for instructions
3. Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.– 2018 is a time to be organised and detailed based on the Vision we have received from the Lord
4. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, – 2018 is a time to patiently wait for the manifestation of what God has promised without wavering or giving up
