MANAGEMENT AND ORDER
April 24, 2020

The Word: Genesis 2: 5 (KJV)

And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.

Dig Deeper:

Genesis 2: 6  (KJV)

But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.

Think about it

MANAGEMENT AND ORDER
Vision series
Management is about exercising control
Management is about arrangement and organisation.
Management is about governance.

But the purpose of management is to bring order.
God loves order. Because order brings peace and calmness. Where God stays in the heavens, there is structure, order and management. God is not chaotic. God is systematic. In beginning the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and God said ‘let there be light’
So the first thing God did in the midst of disorder and confusion was to bring in the light.
The light of God is symbolic of the word.
The word is also symbolic of information and knowledge. In order words, the first step out of disorder is to expose ourselves to information.

Psalm 119: 130
The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.

The more exposed we are to knowledge and information, the more organised our lives are likely to be because we see how some other people have managed to turn their lives around.

Remember Next Level is about a positive movement upward, a change of status quo, a change of gear in the right direction, a step towards fulfilling destiny.

Also remember atleast 4 main things are on the mind of God this year: Newness (causing new things), Restructuring (a re-organisation in our lives), taking a step back in other to leap and God will be taking away all reproach

So restructuring our lives will need to be done as we go through the year systematically. It may not be a sudden destination but it must a journey that has started.

Our text today is simple but powerful. When God created the heavens and earth, there was no rain at all but God will periodically allow a mist (a bit of water) from the ground to water the grass. And we are told why. Because there was no man to till the ground yet. God regulated how much water comes to the grass so that their growth can be controlled. So if its minimum water, they can stay at the same level and not overgrow for a long time. So the difference between a garden which is well managed and looking good and a forest which is over grown is order. This is consistent with how God thinks and works. So without a shadow of doubt if our lives is to be peaceful, beautiful and orderly this year. The key is good management and structure. And we need to start thinking about that right from the beginning

Nuggets:
Without management order will only be a dream

Our memory verse for January 2018
Habakkuk 2: 2

And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Let’s take a few moment to learn our memory verse for this month by heart. It can be memorised in 2 lines:
Line 1:  And the Lord answered me, and said, Write the vision,
Line 2and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

Once you say it a few times it will stick.

Prayer focus: Our prayers for the next level project:
Lord please open our eyes to what we need to structure, give us the grace to do what needs doing
