The Word: Romans 8: 26 – 27 (KJV)
26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

26 In the same way the Spirit [comes to us and] helps us in our weakness. We do not know what prayer to offer or how to offer it as we should, but the Spirit Himself [knows our need and at the right time] intercedes on our behalf with sighs and groanings too deep for words. 27 And He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because the Spirit intercedes [before God] on behalf of [c]God’s people in accordance with God’s will.

DIVINE ASSISTED PRAYERS

Prayer is a very powerful tool. It can bring the hand of God into a situation, It can bring deliverance, It can cause major breakthrough, It can bring healing. What no man can do, Prayer can do. Prayer can be simple. Yet itt can also be complicated. Because it can be complicated, we may not know how to use the tool of prayers effectively.
It’s like sometimes you are are using a new software, you may need to take some training, so that you can effectively use the software. Or for instance: a car is a powerful transport machine, but even when you know how to drive, you still need to know where you are driving to. But because it may be difficult to memorise all motor routes, the satnav is designed so that you can be directed on the right route. So prayer is a fantastic tool. But prayer without the help of the Holy Spirit will just become a sophisticated piece of machine that cannot be effectively operated. So the Holy Spirit has been given to us, to help us drive the vehicle of prayer effectively and in the right direction..
So in the next week and months, let’s engage the Holy Spirit as a tutor to teach us how to pray the way prayer is designed to be offered
