The Word: Ephesians 5: 14 – 17(KJV)
14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, 16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. 17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
Dig Deeper: 1 Corinthians 9: 26 – 27(KJV)
26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: 27 But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.

BEING PRECISE
We would be going back to our 12 bible study methods in the next few days. That book gives us tools on how to effectively get the right nutrients and information for daily, weekly and monthly growth. Because our theme of the month is understanding times and seasons, we can try and merge this. Yesterday we discussed being deliberate, which means to consciously do something. Being deliberate is one of the main habits of successful people (Christians and Non Christians). If we read about highly successful people generally, we will discover that they are deliberate in how they approach life. Being deliberate requires being intentional, being clear. Going for a particular goal and not deviating to the right or left. Which leads me to the topic today: BEING PRECISE.
The word precise comes from PRECISION. It means to aim with a high level of accuracy or exactness.
In other words, It is important for us to recognise our seasons, That is the starting point. We need to understand what the will or plan of God is. We don’t start running anyhow, we focus to understand the direction God wants our lives to take first of all. Then after that we deliberately start to chase after that plan which has been revealed to us. Once we start following his plans, we introduce some level of precision by focusing on what he wants us to do. So let’s go over the steps again:
1. We need to understand God’s will and plans. That is the first step
2. We need to make a deliberate (conscious, intentional) decision to follow God’s plan
3. We need to put in some precision tools so that our output can be significant
Being precise requires analysing our goals, what we are doing to get the goals, the expected time line, whether our efforts is being effective or not. Being precise will lead to better and more rewards from our efforts.

God wants us not only to be deliberate but to be precise
