The Word: Philippians 3: 12 (KJV)

God loves the new…….How do we know?

Every 60 seconds, there is a new minute,
Every 60 minutes, there is a new hour.
Every 24 hours there is a new day,
Every 7 days there is a new week,
Every 4 weeks there is a new month,
Every 12 months, there is a new year.

Lamentations 3: 22
²² It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. ²³ They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

V23 – Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.  (NLT Translation)

God does not give us stale lovingkindness. He keeps it fresh. They are new every morning. Some rich men like fresh food. So each day’s meal has to be prepared fresh. That is what God does for us. So we should never stay on the old. We should always look forward to the next thing that God has in store for us. We should always be expectant, We should always be forward looking. Paul the Apostle made it an habit to always keep looking forward. God has many things in store for you this year. Would you dare dream and call them forth?
