Welcome

We warmly welcome you with all gladness to this website. The website has been designed for easy understanding and clarity of who we are as a church, what we believe in and our mode of worship. We believe that your visiting this website is not merely coincidental but your actions are ordered by God and we hope you’ll be blessed, encouraged, motivated and spurred by what you read here.

HOUSE OF PRAISE CHRISTIAN CENTRE

is a cell and community church that believes in the power and effectiveness of the cell unit in nurturing, growing and developing the believer. We believe we are also more effective in reaching out to the unsaved and witnessing Jesus through the one to one communication and smallness of the cell unit.

We believe that God has a destiny and reason for the existence of every person. A life lived outside of God’s plans and purpose will usually end up empty and hollow. Our gender, ethnicity, family background, gifting, potentials, nation we were born are all part of God’s master plan for our lives. Ultimately walking in this master plan is what brings true fulfilling. Consciously walking in this life purpose starts with knowing Christ at salvation and continues thereafter. We are therefore here to help you walk, fulfil and achieve God’s purpose over your life.

CATCHING THE VISION

According to George Barna – Vision is foresight plus Insight based on hindsight. Vision can also be a mental picture of your preferred tomorrow or mental picture of your God ordained future.

We emphasise that we are people of diverse potentials; there is something that most people are good at, that comes to them naturally better than others. We are differently gifted to be a blessing to the people around us. Put simply our difference is meant to be our distinction when properly nurtured, valued and developed. Everyone is meant as an original and not a photocopy. At House of Praise Christian Centre, loads of people are discovering the joy of loving and serving God in company of like-minded people. This happens not only in our celebration Sunday services and week day services but also our cell meetings in homes, cafes, schools.
